About ESD COMBO TESTER

ESD footwear and Wrist straps are the first line of protection against electrostatic charge generate on the body of human. These are developed for taking away this kind of charge as soon as it is produced. Simultaneously, the footwear or wrist strap must remain electrically safe & secure for the operator. As a result, it is necessary to check every wrist strap or test footwear regularly.

The maximum resistance to wrist strap should not be over 10 megohms and resistance to footwear should not be over 35 Mega ohms. Further, the resistance should not be less than 0.75 Mohm because safeguard to the user from flow of dangerous voltage.

The Turnstile Combo Tester is a perfect blend Double footwear and Wrist Strap tester which tests these type of parameters under real time operating conditions. The footwear section provides a warning in case either of the Footwear is flawed. This is made by keeping one foot on the plate at once.

Door Access System:

Prior to access the EPA (ESD Protected Area) worker needs to check their ESD footwear or Wrist Strap. Entry into the EPA is permitted by the discharge of the Electromagnetic lock only if the resistance of the ESD footwear or Wrist Strap is within the Pass limits.
